Abracadabra is a stallion most want to avoid simply because of his anger. He's judged instantly because of his one eye, but then he's judged even more because of the broken iris. Him being unique doesn't even place it anymore on him. Abra is so full of anger and heartbreak and guilt that it takes one strong person to break down the wall he has built. It seems like it's twenty feet long, that wall. He's built himself so deep into a shell that most of the time he just wishes he hadn't wound up an orphan. Perhaps he would have lived something better of his life. Or maybe he shouldn't have met that stallion who had damaged his single eye. He's grown tired and restless and very impatient. If you're not hustling your little butt, you're on your own. You don't mess with him; you can only try to stay on his good side. Though, with all that said, he can be a very sweet stallion. Under all that baggage he holds on his back, it's a wonder how he survives his mental thoughts. He keeps himself distant from others and rarely lets anyone try to even break the walls in his mind. All in all, Abracadabra is a very complex stallion who needs time - lots of time - to warm up to someone. He needs someone who won't give up on him and to help him figure things out and not be a ruthless stallion. It only takes one special horse to do so, and he has to figure it out someday.
History:
Abracadabra was born to a very ill mother who ended up passing away only three short days after his birth. Whatever sickness she had, it had caused him to have one fully developed eye. His other one hadn't even developed; no dip where a socket should be, no traces of an eye actually trying to grow, nothing. His other eye was fully developed and he could see clearly out of his dual-colored eye. In the three days his dam was alive, she told him several times that he was unique and to stay true to it. She had been a nice mother, he always thought. Thank goodness, though, that he had been born into a herd that had loved him dearly. They had constantly watched over him and his 'uniqueness'. Mares allowed him to suckle when he needed to, the foals played with him, and the lead stallion showed him the ropes an orphaned foal should know.
It didn't take him long to figure things out and soon he was off to be a great stallion. He had a bright future ahead of him, knowing he had the love and support form his herd. At the age of two, Abra had set out on an adventure. He had been kicked out of the herd, even though the lead knew he was gay. He couldn't take the chance that Abra could breed just because he could. It wasn't something that was taken to heart; Abracadabra understood the law of a herd. When he had first set out, he joined a bachelor band almost instantly. It was filled with two year old studs who hadn't filled out completely or were lacking that touch that Abra was used to. Though there were some good looking young stallions, he wasn't happy being there. They all sparred daily, had talks about their former bands, about their lives, anything and everything. The stallions knew almost everything about Abracadabra except for him being gay. There weren't any gay boys around often, so he felt that there was no need to actually tell anyone about his sexual preferences.
Abra then set out at the age of five to be on his own. He was a well developed stallion with a good tone of muscle. It wasn't a lot, but it was enough for him to be pleased with. He wandered alone for a while, soon meeting a young bachelor stallion. That stallion joined up with him and the two became great friends. Abra even developed a small crush on the young brute and was afraid for probably the first time in his life. He was afraid of showing his feelings towards the young one and therefore decided that it was time to leave. The young stallion asked for one last spar before Abra left him, so they did. Their last spar was brutal for the well aging stallion. During the spar, the young stallion had hit Abra's eye pretty hard and it had knocked him unconscious. When he woke up, he couldn't see. His eye was swollen shut and it hurt like hell. The young brute stayed with him until his eye was better, but Abra couldn't see. He was told his eye was broken and that it would most likely not heal ever again.
This left him completely blind. His one good eye had been damaged due to a final spar with a stallion he was supposed to leave behind. Obviously that plan hadn't worked out and over the course of a year, Abracadabra and the young stallion stayed with each other. Abra learned how to cope with no sight, growing angry because of it. When the brute left, Abra knew he was better off alone. His anger built up and he began to turn into a raging machine. He trained hard, learning how to use his other senses and using them against others. He struggled to deal with the anger and heartbreak that constantly battled within him. Even to this day, he still struggles - even if it doesn't look like he does.
