Personality:
Shujaa isn't the nicest horse on the planet. He's very charming at times but also very demanding and doesn't really care about very many horses' opinions unless you're of importance to him. He's a tough nut to crack but it's worth it to gain his trust. He doesn't trust very easily but after you get past the sarcasm he's actually a pretty fun guy. He's very intelligent (hence most sarcastic persons are) and likes to use his wit to make others angry. He has a short temper but is usually able to rein it in if he catches it early enough. He is very protective but isn't a foreceful type of horse. He's a more behind the scenes mischevious type of horse. He hates betrayal (see more- history). He's a born leader and even though his father wasn't a big fan of him, he just became what came natural. He's also very vocal. Most of the time if he's just walking along he will come stop by and say hey. He doesn't like to be alone. He can't be confined to one area for long amounts of time without getting nervous. He has to be on the run all of the time. He doesn't really like bathes, only when extremely hot. Loud noises aren't in his forte either. He spooks if he doesn't expect them (which is a little hard to do.) Also, don't get too close, those powerful hooves kick-hard. He is very claustrophobic. His favorite foods are apples and sugar canes, or basically anything sweet. These are good for bribing him to do something. He's pretty lazy most of the time, it's rare you get him to really go. "Leaders are not born, they're made" would be his quote.
History:
When he was a foal, he was stolen by a jealous pair of gypsies. They made him into their 'perfect angel' by making sure he never really talked or went out. He was to sit in the cave by himself at night while his parents went out and wasn't allowed to play with all of the other foals. Well one day his older sister found him, he didn't know it. He killed his parents, not knowing the whole entire story (thought they gave him away to those awful people). He felt so much betrayel when he found out the real truth. Since then, his older sister took care of him but she had split her own path around 2 years ago and Shujaa hasn't seen his beloved sister since.
