Name: Al-Sarim [Sarim for short]
Gender: Male
Breed: Anglo-Arabian/Andalusian/Akhal Teke mix
Age: Seven and a half
Arrived in MUSTANG: Summer, Year 12
Coat Color: Dark bay [brown with hints of red]
Height: 16.1 hh
Eye Color: Dark brown
Personality:
Sarim is highly intelligent, spirited, witty and confident (some may even say to the point of being cocky). He has been called something of a Mischief Maker. Sharp and cunning, and highly perceptive, he is easily amused and not easily surprised. He is also known to be direct and is unafraid to walk the line even where there are clear indications of higher authority. Sarim is a happy-go-lucky fellow, ever charming and easy to get along with. He does have a weakness for the pretty faes, but has been rumored to be a gentleman in their presence (most of the time). Perhaps another weakness is how he does not take too well to authority, but this is balanced with his disciplined self control as he can be many a times unreadable.
History:
Sarim was born the youngest of four colts to a proud beta commander of a large herd. War was something of a given in this region. They were raised to live up to their sire's reputation of bravery and standards as sons. And while his brothers bested him in strength, he was by far the most fearless and clever of them all. Undermined as he was, he did not make much effort to boost his rank and outdo his brothers. Rather, he paid his brothers back for their constant pestilence with a serious of well thought out pranks and schemes. When their father was killed, Sarim was called to serve along side his eldest brother and the king. This caused a commotion among his brothers who grumbled and complained. They schemed against Sarim and brought about his eventually exile. Betrayed and unimaginably angry he accepted his fate quietly and disappeared. After some time had passed, his brothers were killed one by one by mysterious circumstances. The kingdom also fragmented from the lack of militaristic strength and soon feel to the might of a challenging herd.
Rumor has it that Sarim was behind the fall of the old kingdom, but there was nothing to substantiate such a claim. Sarim has been reported alive and well, a rogue traveler living life by his own choosing.
