Personality: Brego is loyal to those he trusts, but he can be very fierce if he is antagonized or threatened or his friends are threatened. He does what he knows is right and refuses to do anything he feels isn't right or for the good of the horses. He has a soft spot for foals and wants those of his own though he doesn't go around trying to get mares to notice him or flirt with them. He goes about waiting for "the right one" someday but that doesn't exclude him from being a gentleman to the mares. On another side which he tries to hide is a side who has seen war destroy lands and people and he never talks about it to just anyone. He may talk to someone someday, but that day has yet to come.
History: He was born in a royal horse breeding stable and horse master land and trained from the day he turned 1. He was raised to be the prince's mount for whatever and whenever he was needed. He carried his master through journeys and wars. One day he was left in the stable for a rest after a long journey across the lands and the prince took another mount. The battles had started to wear on Brego and only the prince could control him and was the other reason he was left behind. When the troop didn't return everyone grew worried and a search party was sent out with the prince's cousin who was the lead of the soldiers when the prince was away. They found the prince and brought him back to the castle who was alive, but was mortally wounded. Brego was just given feed and water since no one could bring him out of the stable to exercise him. A few days later a Brego felt as if his master was no longer alive and broke out of his stall running away and finding Mustang. Now he is looking for a place to settle or a herd to join.
