Personality: She was raised to be tough and to trust only those who have proven themselves to you. Because of this she keeps her guard up and rarely lets anyone get close to her especially another stallion. Underneath the guard is a mare who wishes to be cherished and a need to be loved. In her past she was pushed away, let down and torn inside from different members in her herd and one stallion. She only lets her guard down for foals since she doesn't want any foal to go through what she did. She does have quick reflexes and can be fierce if she is antagonized or her or her friends are threatened.
History: I was born into a herd that was divided on their feelings of me and trust was a dream. My mother had been taken by a rough rogue stallion as a young mare from a QH ranch and when she reached 3 he didn't give her a choice or say in the matter of bearing a foal and months later I was born. But before then the rogue stallion had been killed in a fight with another stallion and fearing for herself and her unborn foal my mother searched for a herd that would accept a mare like her. She found one and hope grew as they accepted her and she felt she had a home, but quickly was that feeling destroyed when I was born. She had kept quiet and when she had started to show she would keep away from the others and like other mares went off to have me by herself. When she returned to the herd some were happy, but others didn't like the idea of a rogue foal especially the lead stallion since he had begun to like my mother. They didn't kick her out, but the feeling of trust started to decline and once I was a yearling my mother often took me away to teach me how to defend myself since she had a feeling I would be bullied by those who disliked me. She also told me to never trust anyone unless they took you as you were with all your faults and have proven themselves to you. I grew into a sleek well fit mare and caught they eye of the stallions who hadn't been kicked out yet and those passing through our lands. For this I was ridiculed from others saying I was 'trouble' and 'darkness' offspring' and some would pretend to be friends with me then talk behind my back and some of the stallions would shove me around, but they didn't do that for long because I developed quick reflexes and could fight better than the best stallion. Soon the older ones got tired of this and went to the lead stallion complaining to him about me. I had just turned three when the lead stallion came to me and kicked me out with most of the herd, but a few backing him. My mother pleaded with the stallion, but he wouldn't budge and told me if I didn't leave he wouldn't protect my mother from other stallions anymore. I couldn't let my mother go through that again so I said goodbye to her and left looking for a place to wait for another herd to come by. She fought away other stallions not wanting her mothers fate to be hers and had a distrust for them because of the lead stallion. She took her mothers advice to heart and became a guarded mare who hardly laughed or smiled and felt no joy, but deep down inside a little spark of hope needs someone with wisdom to nurture it into a flame of love and desire.
