Personality: Valiant, mysterious, charming, chivalrous, and warrior all rolled into one dark specimen. He's not perfect and has his downfalls especially when he thinks he has failed or no chance at something he longs to do. He may give up sometimes, but he never forgets what he was taught and vows never to be like his father. Under his coal black coat are scars that cut deep into his heart and this leads to times where he will walk endlessly trying to get the past out of his mind. Somethings he is too stubborn to give up and at times it has gotten him into trouble, but he never let his honor down.
History: He was born to a loving mother and strict father. They taught him everything he knows, but they lived different then the other herds in his land. They went by rules that Ivanhoe thought ridiculous and old age. He had two sisters who were older and a brother who was younger. From the minute he could walk Ivanhoe learned his father had arranged what stallions his sister's would go to and that he would follow the same way and wait until a mare was chosen for him. Ivanhoe didn't like it, but he kept quiet and planned some way to get out of it. Then when a passing herd of rouge stallions came by Ivanhoe left with them, but not without a strict lecture and words that cut into his soul from his father and tears from his mother and younger brother. He bid them farewell and told his brother that someday he could find a way out if he wanted to. It hurt him to leave those he loved, but he wouldn't let a mare be subject to someone who wouldn't love her the way he thought it should be. He would have taken care of her, but he thought he would never come to care for her as if he loved her. He left to start a new life and found Mustang hoping one day his brother would find it too.
