Personality: Nathaniel has the classic Iberian temperament, courageous and intelligent, but he can also be quite hot-headed. Easily excited, the man has a mean temper on him if anyone annoys or irks him and isn't afraid to use his teeth or hooves to really get his point across. He is also very protective of his lady friends, and can wear himself constantly being alert to keep any other stallions away from them - he also doesn't like other guys that much, but once you make it clear that you're not going to steal any of his mares, Nate can be a fun loving, easy to talk to guy with a serious side. He feels that if he could make a difference to something or someone, then he will - he's a doer, not a wisher.

History: Nathaniel grew up without a male role model, having been the product of a bachelor stallion and a herd mare, and the herds lead stallion disappearing, so he was quite lucky that he turned out to be so masculine. He was the only baby of that year, and the small band he lived in didn't breed while he was living with them for fear of their children would grow up like him - without a father, and without protection. Growing up in a patriarchal society wasn't easy for the young lad, as he couldn't understand why the mares thought they couldn't do what a stallion would do, and throughout his teenage years, he tried to convince them but so deep did the belief run that he couldn't change anything.

 So when Nathaniel was physically mature, he took over his little band, only to be ousted by an older stallion in the coming months. Now he's older, and craving the responsibility of protecting once again.
