It was horror to the young girl to learn of her father's death, she couldn't believe it, how could she. The rumors spread like wildfire of how it happened and who did it. Too her sickening knowledge, the culprits shared the same bloodline as hers, how could anyone turn on their own family like so? Of course her slut of a mother cared not, which bothered the yearling filly quite alot, already discovering all her mother ever wanted to do was be around stallions and seduce them with her body. After weaning Jolicia had hardly had any use of talking with her matron, she'd lingered and shadowed his father, Paradisum. Absorbing all she could in the little time he had been around in her life. Wanting to be as noble and respected as he some day. Though she felt she was not noticed or cared about within the herd, Jolicia bothered not about it. The other's were never a concern of hers, just to be around and with her father had been her only desire since being born, hating the neglect her mother had given her.
Pricking golden dapple audits, the yearling doe scanned the area for any signs of the devilish pair, knowing their reign already was lethal and unrelenting. Jolicia had to see her father one last time, even if it was just his corpse, she needed closure beyond belief. So stealthly and swiftly she snuck off from where the herd resided for the day, she was mainly a nobody within the herd so she shouldn't be missed. It wasn't long till she came across the blood soaked ground where the grand battle had happened, it sent a nerve wracking shutter down her spine to know her father had been brutalized there in the most disrespectful ways possible. With a whimper she scrambled across to the edge of the rocks where she had been told he'd been pushed over, gasping in utter shock, the wolf's blue silhouette lain motionless far below on a bed of sharp rocks and lapping waters. Tears filled the grey encircled visionaries and her lower lip trembled already, how could this be?
Checking behind her once again, the fragile soul traced the edge of the drop off till she found a stone path to wind down to the majestic blue roan's lifeless corpse. Stopping yards away, pool beguiled in terror at the sight before her. Crimson dried and staining his dark sapphire flesh, disfigured and broken from the fall, unnaturally laying obscured between and on the sharp rocks. Jolicia took many deep breaths before forcing herself to step into the water's edge, the waves were icy cold as they licked up her legs. Being a yearling she was still yet fairly small and not even close to being filled out yet, so it didn't take much for her to be chest deep in the frigid waters. Her father's body was in the points of decay already, surprisingly not bloated to badly but for the rest the canvas was sinking in as the organs shriveled up within.
Timidly walking around the body till she was by his noble crown, features sunken in and gaunt, nothing at all like the last time she had seen his lively elderly features. "Oh papa.." She softly mumbled, unable to stop the tears from flowing as she pressed her muzzle against his cold withering nose. "...why did they.. how come.. did you have to die?" Jolicia sulked, stepping closer ever so cautiously. In weeping silence she lower her tiara to his crown, pressing her forhead to his bony one, staying there for unknown amounts of time. A few minutes perhaps a half hour or two hours, she did not know. Half her body was numb from being submerged in the chilly waters, yet she stood ever to quietly, crying softly to herself of the father she loved to dearly. Knowing she was only one of many children from he and that she'd never been the most important, but what had mattered was he had been her world.
Finally after an unmeasurable amount of time, her tear stained facade lifted with a sniffle and followed by a intentional sharp huff of hot air. "My papa, the one known as the blue wolf, I Jolicia will some day avenge your dishonorable death and bring your murderers to their own demise. I will bring you justice and peace father. I do not know when my day will come but I assure you I will not leave this world till I know there has been retribution for your death." The greying buckskin filly swore her oath then and there, before her father's body and the fate's of life as her witness, she forever more would work towards the goal of one day taking down the murderer's of Paradisum, Schindler and Magdalena.
