History:
- Kimani was born of a lower ranked mare in a wild herd but had a relatively easy life
- At four her new herd was raided by a group of humans and she, along with others, were captured
- After trying to saddle break her, they decided she’d be worth more as a simple broodmare and turned her out to pasture
- While turned out she befriended one of the ranch stallions and filled his head with ideas of freedom
- They began to have feelings for each other and together they began to plan an escape, and managed to break free
- However, during their escape, the stallion was shot and gravely injured and later died from his wounds
- While she had her freedom back, it was tainted by his death and she simply wandered for a few months until she realized she was in foal
- Excited by the realization that a part of him would live on she was looking forward to the foal’s birth
- Yet, when it came to be that time the child was stillborn, so now she is dealing with that trauma and has found herself in the land of Mustang
