Personality: Badr is an ambitious fellow with a strong sense of family and honor. He values order, loyalty, obedience, and trust. He does not take well to liars, tricksters, and traitors. This virile tends to be extremely protective of his own, they are in essence his life and he will fight to protect them. He is not always of so many words, and takes his time to think carefully on his words and courses of action. Underneath his stern facade, amongst those closest to him he rather has a sense of humor and is kind and loving beyond measure. Of course, not many have ventured so far.
History: Badr once was a beta stallion for a large herd. He had a mate whom he loved and a son who was his pride and joy. One brutal winter, the herd was scattered by an unusually large pack of wolves. Badr could never forget that winter, the dreary blizzard of night when he lost his son. The herd never really did manage to regroup after that. Badr was blamed for much of it having lost his motivations in grief for his son. His mate was also mourning and in their despair the once loving coupled grew apart. Badr was confronted by the lead and was removed from his post. Not long after, an outsider challenged for the lead position and won. The new lead's first order of business was to ensure the mares were bred by himself. This was a test of loyalty for all the herd. And those who did not stand to watch as their loved ones become meaningless possessions of the outsider, such as Badr, were exiled. Of course, not before he had to witness the death of his mate. Life was made to change a tad more after that. Badr was now alone in the world and grieving the days he had everything. He had considered ending it all and joining his family in the world that followed this one. One night he had a dream and he met his son and beloved lady. They wished him happiness and longevity, and that he was destined for more than what he had become. The beast awoke in grief but with new purpose. He challenged he who exiled him and won, and killed the bastard without so much as a hesitation. Badr restored the former lead to his rank and left to make his own as his beloved had asked of him.
