Ivanhoe walked into an open spot right before the falls. This place was as beautiful as rumors said and he would have enjoyed himself if not for the ache in his heart since Hawk was stolen. He wished he could have stopped it, but there was no use thinking on that. He needed to find a spot to stay while he thought of a way to get Hawk back. It was spring and he'd hoped just maybe they could've had a foal together. He looked back to see if Caitra was still with him. He wondered if she would leave him now that spring was in the air. There was still times when it was chilly, but the buds on the trees had begun to grow and the snow was melting away. His dark coat soaked in the sunlight warming his body, but not his heart. "Come Caitra we will rest here for a few days." he said looking back at the Irish mare. He wondered if she would be okay on her own. He needed to find a way to keep her with him. He didn't want to force her, but he wasn't sure how else he would do it. He was glad they found the entrance to this place instead of having to continue on. "Are you fairing well?" he asked the mare his dark eyes showing true compassion. This was going to be a very lonely stop. Meo musical
