Nexus is terribly restless, the heir of flames, Isardis, can clearly see this within the tension of his father's kingly shoulders as he paces the east bank of the lake. Isardis associates his behavior with boredom, while Nexus knows it is restless anticipation, something akin to anxiety. He rolls his sable shoulders, tossing his angled features, raven locks clash against his crest.
Nexus roars, and everything clicks into place, the king is calling congress. Isardis watches his father with a renewed interest. A rush of excitement courses through his veins, simmering in his blood. Nexus calls, "Members of the Lake court! Come! Seek council with me!" He lets his words take flight with the wind, to his second and command (the philosopher's son and his people), to his sister (the lady knight and her charge), and to his beloved Liesel who could not be too far away.
