TAG WhipsterNOTES: For Elysia and Tobias. (You can add Socrates as well if you want.) | I'm going home ✘ back to a place where I belong She stepped through the trees with severe caution. She had abandoned her colt with his father, even after telling herself that she was going to raise him from birth up until she died. How this could have happened was beyond her, but she felt horrible about it. Maybe Socrates had done a good job at raising their beautiful son.. Hopefully Tobias didn't hate her for leaving.. Why had she even left in the first place? Surely it wasn't because of heartbreak this time..
No, it sure as heck wasn't heartbreak. She wasn't sure what had driven her away, but the thought of leaving her colt hadn't hurt her as much as one would think from a mother who had been desperate for a child. Looking around, ice blue eyes took in the surrounding trees before she let her lips part and she let out a loud, strong, calling whinny. She wanted to hug her son close and tell him she was sorry for ever leaving him and wanting to make up for the year they lost together. She stood near a group of trees, relaxing in the summer sun. |

Tobias had never been mad at her for leaving. In fact, his father had taken special care to ensure that he never thought ill of her. How could he? If he did not find comfort here, then the boy wanted her to find it — no matter how far. And he could smell her as soon as she was close; his throat clenched and head raised, exhaling softly into the summers breeze. He sent an unsure look toward his father, who watched on with silence and ease over his face. The older stallion nodded once, before turning himself the other direction to continue accompanying Rensa, his sister.
The boy headed off to where the sent blew the strongest. Tobias was nervous, really, to see mama after a long year of being without her. What little he knew was enough to make him love Elysia, more than he had yet loved, because she was his birth giver and she loved him too. He didn't bee proof. He just wanted to see her face ( it was a white washed painting in his mind, already ) and say hello. Would she be proud at the strong boy that was now?
He approached carefully. His cerulean eyes were glowing, and he exhaled a soft murmur to sound that he was there. He made it. One year under the care of Socrates and Arya, away from his mother and whatever comfort it meant between son and mother.
Tobias took a sharp breath, grinning warmly. “Hi, mama.”

i look better on your girl than her outfit | She looked to her left, noticing the young stud she had loved so very much a year ago. A soft smile crossed her lips when he greeted her and when she went to greet him back, the words clung to the back of her tongue and refused to come out. Her mouth had opened to let them out, but then she quickly shut it when nothing happened. Taking in a noticeable deep breath, the painted woman walked over to her painted son, her ice-laced eyes scanning his body. He was perfect, just like she had remembered. His black splattered frame filling out nicely and sharp blue eyes to add to it.Letting her breath out, Elysia forced herself to speak, shoving the words out of her mouth. "Hello, Tobias." They were shaky, but at least they came out. He was covered in many different scents, one of which she recognized as Socrates. "Has he taken good care of you?" she asked, suddenly realizing that Socrates, though a good man, could have beaten their boy. Stepping closer to Tobias, she tried to figure out who the other scents were, quickly coming up short with knowing absolutely nothing about who he had been hanging out with or what. Wow, it kind of hurt not knowing jack about a child that was yours.
Whipster - I don't know... lol she's all awkward right now. |
