Though he looks big and mean, if you take a second to talk to him you'll find it just the opposite. Though Helios doesn't go out of his way to be energetic and friendly, he's a laid back soul with a kind heart. Stern around those he does not know, to those he holds dear, he will protect and love until the very end. For only being six, he is a pretty wise and intelligent horse. Helios is a family man, loves foals and romping around with them. He has a serious side, most definitely, and strives to do greater. Sometimes he gets a little testy, but it's easy to look past that.

You wouldn't look into kind eyes and think he came from somewhere horrible. Helios was born to a stallion named Fryer, a ruthless brute who lived for war and breathed blood. The stallion was raised on nothing except kill all, be king. He was cast out when he was three, refusing to continue his teachings on how to be a "real man", something along those lines. From then out, Helios traveled, and eventually found a greater love than nature. After almost two years of experiencing love, she was taken from him by nature. The rest of his life was revolved around finding something greater.
