STEAL RULES

RULES:

- Please title your steal "Season Here, "#Steal Attempt Here".
- One successful steal per herd per season OR two unsuccessful steals per herd per season (must be on two different horses, can be within the same herd/harem).
- If a stolen mare has a foal that is younger than 1yo, then it goes with her.
- Anyone can post a steal if they are over 3 years old, but only lead mares and stallions may block them.
- You have 24 hours to block a steal. If you don't block herd member in time, then they go to the opposing herd.
- If you do block your herd member in time, then the staff will roll two dice; twice for you, and twice for the hopeful thief. Whoever rolls the highest sum takes the horse.
- The stallion or mare that originally claimed the land may not be stolen. This does not extend to their mates.
- Mares, foals 1yo+, and stallions may be stolen.
- To steal you must make a post on this board. Within this post, include the name of the horse you are trying to steal, the name of their herd leader, and both the season and year in which they are being stolen.
- Once a horse has been stolen they cannot be stolen again - by anyone - for one full season. For example, if they are stolen anytime in Fall, they may not be stolen again until Spring. This is a safe period.
- The only way to get a stolen horse back straight away is to challenge their new leader to a fight and win them back.
- Once the safe period is up a horse can once again be stolen by anyone, including their previous owner.
-If a member has posted as away, you may not steal from them until they return.

EXAMPLE:

Sun Runner wishes to steal Willow from Kryptonite. It is Autumn, Year 9.
