Personality: Absinthe is a cold mare. She doesn't much enjoy the company of others, and as such often spends time by herself. Those that try to threaten her solitude are quickly met with a nip or a kick, coupled with harsh words and a big attitude. Those that respect her space, however, can over time gain her trust. Such an easily broken gift, Absinthe gives it out rarely, preferring to just chase would be suitors and friends off. But when one comes along who is either persistent in a way that charms her, or otherwise seems to understand her ways, her hostile façade can soften. Scorn her, and she'll bring hell's wrath down upon you. But continue to please her, and she'll reward you through the years with her own kindness.
History: Abinthe had an uneventful coming of age. She was born into a small herd; only her father, her mother, and a cousin. As she grew older, her father was quickly chased off and replaced by a new stallion. For a small time he ruled their tiny herd, bringing in another mare or two before he was chased off himself. It was a revolving door of 'leaders' and 'fathers' for Absinthe till she left out on her own. The herd she knew as her family grew and shrank with each overthrowing, and she scarcely remembered any of their names or faces. While being on her own was dangerous and difficult, she quickly found it more to her suiting, and thus has wandered by her lonesome since.
