Name: Jessalynn [Jessa - lynn] Nickname: Jessie Gender: Mare Breed: Kiger Mustang Genetics: Age: 12 yrs Arrived in MUSTANG: Summer, year eleven Coat Color: Coyote Dun Markings: Dorsal stripe, face mask, ear markings, leg barrings, dark spots Height: 15.0 hh Eye Color: Pastel Green
Personality: She's not a spring chicken and it's easy for one to tell. She is friendly, but cautious of others keeping her distance and protecting herself from others. Her past has taught her not to hold others close, not to get her hopes up. She can be a harsh mare, speaking her true thoughts, stepping up for herself and for others. She isn't afraid to step up for herself and for others, she is bold by nature. She is independent and doesn't depend on a stallion for protection or to fight for her. She will fight for herself no matter how big or how small the enemy. She likes the company of others, but has trained herself not to need or yearn for it. She has hardened her heart over the years to prevent more pain and more heartbreak. She has had several children and is an experienced mother, a caring mother, and a teacher. She is much more softer towards young ones and will try to hold her tongue. She can be respectful to who she sees fit. If you treat her right she will be respectful and loyal. If you are a jerk to her then expect her to be a jerk and snappy towards you.
History: Jessie grew up in a rather small roaming herd of close family. Her life growing up was rather peaceful with three stallions for protection and two mares to stick with when trouble arose she was well protected. Her tight knit group included her father, uncle, Older brother, mother, and her aunt. The five raised her well and she got a bit of both training methods. I mare's training and a stallions training. In fact she was quite the rough and tough little tomboy as she battled to adapt to both mare and stallion training. When she was old enough (2 yrs) to leave her family she decided it would be best to try it out on her own. She had traveled enough in her beginning years to know how to survive. By this point she was going through her calm, gentle, and curious stage. She came across her first strange stallion. He was a kind stallion who treated her like a princess. He was also just starting out and around the same age as her. Unfortunately she was stolen by a much more rough, bigger, and older stallion. Her first spring (3 yrs) she was forced to breed with this stallion, he didn't give her a choice even when she fought back. Breeding was successful, but when the colt was born it was a stillborn. Heartbreak struck the young mare with such intensity and the stallion she was with could care less. He had to many mares in his herd to give her any individual attention.
Winter she was stolen once more, by another older stallion who had a small group like she had growing up. This stallion had more time to spend with her. He helped her through her dark time and she came to know him on a deeper level. She saw him as an older brother and remained with him until the fallowing Summer (4 yrs). Her separation from this stallion was much different from the others. A more intense state of panic as pale faced two legged tried to wrangle them all up. She managed to get away, the others she was unsure of their fate. She began to travel again and until the fallowing spring (5 yrs) she had managed to stay by herself. Spring she had been overcome by emotions and lust and fell to the charms of a dark eyed stallion. The bred and she gave birth to a beautiful filly, her first live child. Soon the two were claimed by another young stallion and managed to survive the winter.
(Will continue to work on history, but everything else is finished and ready for approval!)

Welcome to MUSTANG! Your application is approved. Please remember to claim your character's name and update the member directory here.
I am not familiar with 'Coyote Dun' as an official term, but having referred to this page, I am satisfied enough to accept!
